Before you begin, plug a cable and hub into your LAN NIC card.

The task entitled "Enable Network Connections"

b. Open up access for more than just Internet Explorer if you need it for third party access
i. PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS OPEN FOR FULL OUTBOUND ACCESS WHICH IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR LONG TERM – THIS IS MERELY FOR TESTING, IT IS PREFERRED TO USE “BASIC” AUTHENTICATION OR TO REVIEW THE WEB ACCESS LOG FILES IN THE ISALOGS SUBDIRECTORY AND SEE EXACTLY WHAT PORT IS BEING USED. IN THAT CASE YOU CAN LEAVE THE ISA SETTINGS AT DEFAULT AND REVIEW THE ISA LOGS FOR “BLOCKED”, THEN REVIEW THE INFO AT http://www.isaserver.org TO SET UP FOR ACCESS
ii. In ISA, go to servers and arrays, click on servername, click on access policy, click on protocol, then click on rules, then on the right window do properties, click on the “applies to” tab , then click on "any request", click apply
iii. ISA SP1 click on unauthenticated
iv. Everything works? Good, now tweak time, change it back
